One of our customers in the sector wanted to automate its steel strip welding process while capitalising on its existing know-how. The challenge was to guarantee consistent quality across a wide range of products, while optimising the management and flexibility of its process.
Solution implemented
ACG has developed a bi-robot cell for handling, shaping and welding steel strips. The integration of intelligent management of the different product references ensures smooth, adaptable production.
Each key stage in the process – rolling, welding, polishing and palletising – replaces a previously manual operation, ensuring precision and repeatability.
