Project challenge
The customer in this sector wanted to automate the unloading of flax bales to optimise the scutching process. The aim was to automatically locate, pick up and place the bales of flax on the production line, while guaranteeing a continuous and efficient flow.
Solution implemented
We designed a bespoke robot incorporating advanced intelligence, able of locating the bales of flax, picking them up precisely and feeding them to the scutching line. This automation has optimised output, reduced manual handling and ensured greater consistency in the feeding of the process.
